If you use the Outreach dialer to record your outbound sales calls, you can map these call recordings to SFDC. This allows Chorus to consume these calls for analysis, on a nightly basis. All you have to do is create a field at the task level in SFDC and map the calls from Outreach to this field. Once the call recordings are mapped in SFDC, Chorus will take care of the rest!
1. Create Custom Activity Field in Chorus
Setup -> Customize -> Activities -> Activity Custom Fields
2. Create New Salesforce Field
Step 3: Select Text Field
4. Name/Describe the Field
5. Grant Permissions
Note: Do not check "Read Only" as Outreach may not pick up the field if it is marked read only.
6. Add to page layouts
1. Outreach Field Mapping
Navigation: Settings -> Plugins -> Salesforce -> Tasks (Calls) -> Fields
2. Outreach Field Mapping to New SFDC Field
You're done! Contact your Chorus CSM, and let them know that the above steps are complete. Your calls will appear in your Chorus pipeline, available for you to review with full Chorus analytics!
