With an org timezone set up, any data pushed into Salesforce will maintain the listed time zone. If you do not have a timezone set up (default), then the data is pushed up in UTC time, same as previous behavior.
Add an Org Default Time Zone
- An Outreach admin can click on their initials on the bottom left hand corner of the Outreach platform.
- Under the settings panel, find the section labeled "User Admin" and click into the "Org" settings.
- Scroll down the page until you see the section labeled "Admin". Find the "Default Time Zone" dropdown, and select the appropriate option.
- Save your changes.
Tasks that have already been pushed to Salesforce will not retroactively update with the org default timezone. This setting will apply to tasks completed after the new setting is saved.
Note: If a default org timezone is selected, all timestamps will be that of the timezone regardless of where an individual rep is located. Ex: If an org's default timezone is set to PDT, a call made by an East Coast rep at 11pm EDT will show the task completed at 8pm PDT on the same day. If the East Coast rep calls a prospect at 1am EDT, the task will show a completed timestamp at 10pm PDT on the previous day.
