Outreach does not have the ability to intercept calls to numbers that are not directly purchased within the Outreach platform instance. As such, for incoming calls to personal numbers (such as cell phones, internal POTS lines, VOIP lines, or any number that was not directly purchased within Outreach voice services), we will not display those calls within platform.
Note: The same logic extends to call recording, as well -- only inbound calls to phone numbers purchased from Outreach will have the option to be recorded.
Workaround
If purchasing a phone number from Outreach is not an option, you can manually log calls in Outreach.
- In the Outreach left nav, click Activity > Calls.
- In the upper right of the screen, click the +Log a Call button.
- In the Log Call window, complete all details.
Note: There are no fields for call date/time -- this will be recorded as the time this log itself was completed and submitted. Please use the Call notes field to record the exact call date/time if necessary. - When done, click Submit.
