Outreach supports automated email reminders for external meeting participants before meetings. These reminders are attached to specific meeting types, and their content is not customizable. Learn more about automated meeting reminders.
The following procedure is for reminders for meetings without attached meeting types or need fully customized content.

Procedure
We typically recommend that you first create a sequence with one or two email steps where the email templates are reminding the prospect of their upcoming meeting. Then you can create a Trigger for “meeting booked” which will automatically create an action for the prospect based on the Trigger conditions.
Setting the Sequence
You can set this Sequence to send the first email X amount of hours or days after the Prospect has been enrolled to the Sequence. While this won't be based on when the Meeting is scheduled, it can still serve as a reminder.
Setting the Trigger
Once you've built the sequence, you can create the Meeting booked trigger where:
- Event is meeting booked
- Target is the prospect
- Action is adding the prospect to the sequence you created
