How do I edit the Smart Views?

Objective

Smart views are custom view layouts with applied filters. Your objective is that you want to edit an existing smart view when viewing the list view pages.

The name, owner, sharing, and default field can be updated on an existing smart view. If you need to edit the applied filters, you have to create a new smart view and save that.

Applies To

• All list view pages where you can create and save a smart view.
• Users that have permission to view and edit those smart views. If you do not see these permissions and steps below, please reach out to your admins about that permission.

Procedure

• To edit the smart view name, owner, sharing, or default view setting:
  1. Go to the list view page where the smart view is
  2. Click on the smart view dropdown in the top left above the search box
  3. Find and hover over the smart view that you want to edit
  4. Click the 3-dots
  5. Click Edit
  6. Edit/update the name, owner, sharing, or default toggle, and click Save

• To edit the applied filters
  
  1. Go to the list view page where the smart view is
  2. Click on the smart view dropdown in the top left above the search box
  3. Find and click on the smart view that you want to edit the applied filters for
  4. Edit and update the filters from the list view
  5. Click Save view next to the smart view dropdown
