So you've converted a lead into a contact in Salesforce. Outreach will see that the lead has been converted and intelligently remap to the contact. This creates a seamless transition of data exchange between Outreach and Salesforce. Once the prospect is re-mapped to the contact, Outreach will pull down the Account to retain hierarchy within Outreach (for safety and organizational purposes).
This smart remapping now posts the Prospect's activity (posted emails/call history) to the contact, instead of the lead, to ensure records are kept up to date. Going forward, any updates to name, company, opt out, etc. will now update the contact, instead of the lead.
