Steps By Day Interval
This sequence type is used for reoccurring campaigns (drip campaigns). Steps are set by time and intervals, which can range from immediately to any time in the foreseeable future.
For example, if a user wanted to send a Quarterly email; a step would look like:
After the step has been saved, a template box will appear with a place to enter your company's event information. The 'eye' symbol on the middle of the box allows a user to see a preview as the email is composed.
Prospects can be added to previously created sequences at any time. When added, the prospect will follow the previously created intervals, unless forced to send earlier by the user.
Steps By Exact Date/Time
This sequence type is used when a one time event is being scheduled, such as a webinar, conference, or trade show. Once a date and time have been chosen by a user, no additional prospects can be added to the sequence if the specified date has passed.
For example, if a user wanted to send an email notifying prospects of an upcoming event; a step would look like:
Like the first sequence type, after the step has been saved, a template box will appear with a place to enter your company's event information. Additionally, subsequent steps within this type will follow the previously created date and time.
Note: If an email does not send due to a sending limit being reached by the email provider, sequences will automatically retry to send after 24 hours or will send when the sending limit has been reset, see Email Limits & Safeguards.
