Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach admins in mapping the Actively in Sequence check box.
Using an Actively in Sequence checkbox on your Lead and Contact records in your CRM helps identify whether someone is currently active in a sequence in Outreach, without leaving your CRM. This is helpful to know to prevent your team from reaching out to leads/contacts with marketing emails if they're already active in a sales sequence in Outreach.
Intended Audience:
- Outreach Admins
Notes:
- Field-level security must be configured as visible to all on the Lead or Contact Object as applicable. For more information regarding field level security, refer to the Setting Salesforce Field Level Security for Type Fields article.
Before this Procedure, Admins have:
- Added the the Actively in Sequence field (true/false value) to the Lead or Contact object as applicable.

- Access the CRM settings.
- Click the Lead or Contact Object as applicable.
- Add a new Field Mapping: Actively being sequenced <> Actively being sequenced.
