Within a sequence, you might have some prospects in a paused state. That implies that they have either been paused manually or you received an OOTO reply. Or you might have some that you need to pause to continue in the sequence at a later date.
To pause a prospect within a sequence, go to the sequence in question. Click on the prospects and you'll be able to select the ones you would like to pause and hit the gear icon. You will see a number of options:
Hit pause and you'll see a window appear stating that those prospects have been paused.
To resume those paused prospects is just as simple. Simply select the ones that you would like to have active in the sequence again and hit the gear icon and select resume.
Once they have successfully have been resumed, you'll see this:
Out of Office Resuming
The OOTO replies will automatically resume prospects if your sequence settings enable this feature. This setting is found on your ruleset or, if using a custom ruleset, in the sequence settings. When enabled, the setting will appear as follows:
In the above example, the OOTO auto-resume option has been enabled. If a prospect is paused, Outreach will wait two weeks before auto-resuming the prospect in the sequence. If a prospect had already been paused due to an ooto response, there is a limit in place that will not allow the prospect to auto-resume if they were paused over 4 weeks ago. These settings can be adjusted for the amount of time that best fits your workflow.
