Answer
When adding prospects to an account, sometimes the account Histogram doesn't reflect the sum of prospect Histograms.
The histograms are calculated according to emails's activity. If we delete a prospect and then create another one with the same email, we will still retain all of the historical histogram data.
The account histogram is a combination of the individual prospect histograms. However, there is an additional condition that only the histograms of prospects who were touched or engaged within the last year are aggregated. This is mainly to optimize and limit the number of prospect histograms we need to query.
