The purpose of this article is to provide information to Outreach Users regarding the Intelligent Email Data Extraction with Amplify. Intelligent Email Data Extraction automates the process of identifying new phone numbers from the email signature or numbers that are discrepant to existing ones in Outreach. Whit this feature, Outreach is able to identify and add new phone numbers from a Prospect email signature.
- Outreach Users
- The Outreach Everywhere Chrome Extension must be installed and enabled prior to enabling the Return date extraction feature. For more information regarding installation of Outreach Everywhere, refer to the Installing the Outreach Everywhere Chrome Extension article.
- If a phone number already exists on the Prospect profile in Outreach, the new number is added as a secondary number below the existing information. To adjust the order, users must manually edit the Prospect's profile.
Intelligent Email Data Extraction:
Intelligent Email Data Extraction is a feature of Outreach Everywhere that works in a user's inbox. When a user clicks into an email thread, Outreach scans the email signature for new or updated information. If the email address is associated with a Prospect in Outreach, Outreach will compare the the phone number in the Prospect's profile to that of the phone number listed in the Prospect's email signature. If the phone number is different, Outreach will update the Prospect profile accordingly.
Note: If a different number is present, Outreach will not overwrite the Prospect's existing phone number in the platform, rather, Outreach will add the additional phone number to the Prospect profile as a secondary phone number.
Users can select the phone number type (work, mobile, home, VoIP, other) by clicking on the dropdown menu next to the phone number.
