Will Outreach notify me if I have an unread text message?
For Early Access we do not have desktop notifications, but you will receive an email notification. If you miss a text, there will be a red dot next to the sidebar icon that will appear when a message is unread.
Will text messages appear in the activity history of the prospect? What about my activity feed?
Text messages will appear in the activity history in the platform and in the extension. Text messages can also be seen on the prospect activity overview.
Can I text more than one person at once?
For Early Access we do not support group chats or bulk messages.
Can I text my colleagues?
You can send messages to other Outreach users that have an Outreach SMS number.
Can I text non-US numbers, including Mexico and Canada?
Texting can only be sent to and from US and Canada numbers. It is not available for other countries at this time.
Do you support MMS (GIFs, images, etc.)?
For Early Access, you can receive MMS messages, but cannot send MMS messages.
Can my prospects opt out of my texts?
To unsubscribe, prospects can respond with `STOP`, `STOPALL`, `UNSUBSCRIBE`, `CANCEL`, `END`, or `QUIT`. Any of these keywords will trigger an opt-out and block any future messages from the outreach number to the prospect number. `UNSTOP`, `START`, or `YES` will remove the block. However, please note that this opt out will not be reflected on the prospect profile, you will still be able to call and email the individual that opts out of text message communication.
