Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach admins in updating a CRM plugin to Sync with LinkedIn Tasks in Outreach.

Before you begin
- This article covers steps for configuring standard task object plugin settings. For more information regarding advanced mapping settings for LinkedIn Tasks, refer to the Advanced Task Mapping for LinkedIn Tasks article.
If you're using LinkedIn Tasks in your Sequences, you'll need to ensure you have the correct settings in place to sync applicable information to your CRM activity feed.
Procedure
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Access the CRM Plugin.
- Click the Lead object in the Types list.
- Click to enable the Completed Tasks option under the Messages & Events section.
- Click the Settings icon (gear symbol) and customize the option as applicable.Note: Any text can be included when customizing the title; however, Outreach recommends including the {{task_type_name}} string.
- Click Save.
- Repeat steps 2-6 for the Contact object in the Types list.
