Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach users in filtering and sorting the call list view to segment calls to understand how Prospects are engaging.

How To Sort and Filter the Call List View:
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Click the Calls (phone) icon in the navigation sidebar.
- Click Views & Filters.
- Click Sort & Filter.
Sort and filter the Call List View based on the options outlined below.
Search Options: From
Click the From dropdown menu and select an option based on the description in the table below.
Option | Description |
---|---|
You | View calls you made or that were returned using your Outreach number. |
Any User | View calls related to specific Outreach users. |
Only Certain Users | View calls related to specific Outreach users. |
Only Certain Teams | View calls related to users nested under a specific team. |
Search Options: Date Range
Click the Start Date and End Date fields to create a filter based on a specific date range.
Search Options: Missed Calls
Click to enable a filter that displays only missed calls.
Search Options: States
Click to enable a filter that displays only calls based on a call state as defined in the table below:
State | Description |
---|---|
Ringing | A call that is currently being dialed out to a Prospect. |
In Progress | A call that is currently connected to the Prospect and available for live listening or joining. |
Completed | A call that was successfully connected to the Prospect or the Prospect's voicemail. |
Canceled | The call ended without connecting to the Prospect or the Prospect's voicemail. |
Failed | The call could not be connected. |
Busy | The call reached a busy signal. |
No Answer | The call was unable to connect to the Prospect or the Prospect's voicemail but kept ringing. |
Search Options: Direction
Click to enable a filter that displays Outbound or Inbound calls in the Call List View.
Search Options: Recordings
Click to enable a filter that displays calls with or without recordings in the Call List View.

Search Options: Tag and Prospect Tags
Selecting an option from either the Tag or Prospect Tag field displays calls with a specific label. These labels are specific to the user's organization.
Search Options: Duration
Select a time range from the Duration dropdown menu to display calls in the Call List View that meet a specified time frame.
Search Options: Purpose
Select an option from the Purpose dropdown menu to display calls that match the specified criteria in the Call List View.
Search Options: Disposition
Select an option from the Disposition dropdown menu to display calls that match the specified criteria in the Call List View.

Apply these sorting and filtering methods to quickly locate calls based on specified criteria in the Call List View.
