The purpose of this article is to provide information to Outreach users regarding the Quick Actions feature in Gmail's inbox.
Quick Actions enable users to quickly add a task, book a meeting, or call a Prospect directly from Gmail without navigating elsewhere in the Outreach platform.
- Outreach Users
- Confirm users are using the most recent version of the Outreach Everywhere extension.
With Outreach Everywhere installed and enabled, Outreach will identify if a point of contact being emailed exists in the Outreach Platform.
If Outreach doesn't recognize the contact, Outreach Everywhere will provide users with the opportunity to add the contact as a Prospect in the Outreach platform.
Input the Prospect's information from the Outreach Everywhere extension and click Save to add them to the Outreach Platform.
The Create Task Quick Action allows users to quickly create a follow up task for the Prospect within Gmail.
Input the specifications of the Task as applicable and click Create. The Task is now saved in Outreach.
Book A Meeting
The Book A Meeting Quick Action allows users to quickly create a meeting with the Prospect from Gmail.
Input the meeting specifications and click Insert Available Times. The meeting is now reserved and a link is added to a reply to send to the Prospect.
The Call Quick Action allows users to quickly call Prospect from within Gmail.
Click Call in Gmail and the Prospect's number populates in the Start Call window.
Click Call and Outreach Everywhere will attempt to connect the call with the Prospect.
