Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach Admins in enabling the Completed Tasks option in the Microsoft Dynamics plugin to sync LinkedIn Tasks correctly when records change.

Notes:
- Users using LinkedIn task types in sequences need to configure the correct Dynamics settings to sync the information to the Dynamics Activity field.
- The CRM Sync experience listed here includes both the Classic Plugin experience and the new Enhanced CRM Sync Experience.
Procedure
Classic Plugin
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Access the Dynamics Plugin.
- Click Types in the menu bar.
- Click the Lead object.
- Click to enable the Completed Tasks option under the Messages & Events section.
- Click the Settings icon to the right of the Completed Tasks option.
- Click to enable the Custom Title option in the Advanced Settings window.
- Input text as applicable.
Note: The Custom Title field allows users to customize how completed task activities appear in the Dynamics activity field. Text must include the {{task_type_name}} string. - Click Save.
- Repeat steps 1-9 for the Contact object as applicable.
Enhanced CRM Sync
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Access the Dynamics Integration.
- Click the Lead object.
- Click to enable the Completed Tasks option under the Advanced Settings section.
- Click the Settings icon to the right of the Completed Tasks option.
- Click to enable the Custom Title option in the Advanced Settings window.
- Input text as applicable.
