Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach Admins in purchasing and assigning phone numbers to users in the Outreach Platform.

Looking for International phone numbers?
Purchasing International phone numbers follows the same general process outlined in this article. However, some locations will require additional documentation and address verification.
Please also note that international mobile numbers are not available for purchase in Outreach -- only local or national type.

Procedure
Before You Begin
- The ability to purchase a phone number through Outreach is controlled by User Governance Profiles. If you do not have access, contact your Outreach Admin for more information.
- Using imported number lists is not a recommended practice due to risk of outgoing calls to Prospects being registered as spam.
Purchase Phone Numbers in Outreach
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Click on Administration (The gear icon) located in the bottom left corner of the navigation sidebar.
- Under Communication Tools, click on Phone Numbers.
- Click the New Phone button from the right upper corner.
- Select the applicable user from the Users dropdown menu.
- Select the Country from the dropdown menu.
- Click to select the applicable number. Search an area code to purchase a number for a specific location.
- Click Continue.
- Review and click Purchase.
- The purchased number is now assigned and available for use.
International Request Status
To check the status of an international phone number request follow the steps below:
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Click on Administration (The gear icon) located in the bottom left corner of the navigation sidebar.
- Under Communication Tools, click on Phone Numbers.
- Click on the Regulations tab.
- You should see a list of all international phone number requests, the status will be visible on the inline right side:
- Rejected: The request has been rejected. To learn more about the rejection reason, please reach out to our support team.
- Accepted: The request has been accepted. Go to the Phones tab to assign the number to a user. For more, see How To Assign Phone Numbers to Outreach Users.
- Pending Review: The request is still being reviewed. Check later to see if it was accepted or rejected.
In the event there are no numbers available in your desired area, please reach out to our support team with details for the number and how many you would like. We will pass this along to our voice provider to help demonstrate demand. Please note that this is only a request and we cannot guarantee any ETA for when a number may be made available.
