Admin Permissions in Outreach Commit

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to provide Outreach Admins information about how Permission Sets are organized within Outreach's standalone Commit product.

Outreach Commit Admin Permissions

Each permission in the Admin application is organized into a Permission Set. Each Permission Set is scoped to a different area of the Admin application.

The individual permissions control the actions that can be taken within the app. The possible permissions within each Permission Set are: Access, Read, Update, Create, Delete, Manage and Share permissions.

This document outlines the areas of the application that are affected by each of the granular permissions.

Admin Permission Set

  • Access - All page routes in the Admin app require Access permission. If the user does not have this permission, the user will be redirected to this page.

Group Permission Set

  • Access - With Access permission, the outlined UI element(s) are visible.

  • Update - With Update permission, the outlined UI element(s) are visible.

Goal Permission Set

  • Access - With Access permission, the outlined UI element(s) are visible.

User Permission Set

  • Access - With Access permission, the outlined UI element(s) are visible.

Sync Permission Set

  • Access - With Access permission, the outlined UI element(s) are visible.

  • Update:
    • With Update permission, the outlined UI element(s) are visible.

    • With Update permission, the field mapping properties can be changed.

    • With Update permission, extension fields can be added or updated.

  • Access - With Access permission, the outlined UI element(s) are visible.

  • Update:
    • With Update permission, the outlined UI element(s) are visible.

    • With Update permission, the role name and description can be changed. Also, the permissions of each feature can be changed.
