Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide Outreach admins and users with an understanding of the changes to expect when enabling Outreach’s new global navigation menu.
The new Outreach global navigation menu now includes categories to organize pages, and can be expanded to display page names. The global navigation menu also introduces the following:
- Some existing pages are nested into categories
- Menu is expanded by default for new users, but can be collapsed to maximize space
- Outreach will remember the state you left the menu in between sessions
- Administration menu now takes up less horizontal space so there’s more room to work

Before you begin
- Only admins can enable the new global navigation for an organization
- The following features are only visible if your organization has configured forecasting and you have been granted access:
- Pipeline Summary
- Forecasting
- Forecast Rollup
- Scenario Planner
- Pipeline Movement
- The following feature is only visible if your organization is leveraging Outreach Kaia
- Kaia
Procedure
- Log in to Outreach as an Admin.
- Click Administration > Org info.
- Locate Main navigation.
- Click Edit.
- Enable the new global navigation menu.
Overview
Once the new global navigation menu is enabled, Outreach features will no longer each be exposed as individual icons on the left hand navigation bar. Instead, many features will be grouped together under broader categories. The menu can be fully expanded or collapsed into icons only.
