Objective

Use keyboard shortcuts to work efficiently in Outreach.

Applies To

  • Outreach Users

Procedure

Keyboard shortcuts can be used to start an action, use the search function throughout the platform, and in the text editor.

Global

The following keyboard shortcuts are global to the Outreach platform.

ActionMacWindows
Global Searchcmd+ectrl+e
Open the Support navigationcmd+hctrl+h
Compose a new one-off Mailingcmd+mctrl+m
Create a new Calendar Meetingcmd+dctrl+d
Open Taskflow pane to begin Taskscmd+kctrl+k

Text Editor

The following keyboard sequences are specific to when a User is actively editing within a text editor in Outreach.

ActionMacWindows
Boldcmd+bctrl+b
Italiccmd+ictrl+i
Underlinecmd+uctrl+u
Linkcmd+kctrl+k
Copycmd+cctrl+c
Pastecmd+vctrl+v
Cutcmd+xctrl+x
Undocmd+zctrl+z
Redocmd+shift+zctrl+y
Indent list itemtabtab
Outdent list itemshift+tabshift+tab

Note: With the cursor on a bulleted or numbered list item, use Tab and Shift+Tab to create multi-level nested lists. This works the same way across every editor instance in Outreach, including email compose, sequence steps, templates, and snippets.
