How to Automatically Remove CRM-Disqualified Leads from Outreach Sequences

Created by Dustin Kadrmas, Modified on Mon, 9 Feb at 11:02 PM by Alsabana Sahubarali

Objective

Set up Outreach to automatically finish Prospects in Sequences when the corresponding Lead or Contact is marked Disqualified in CRM.

Applies To

  • Prospects
  • Sequences

Procedure

  1. Set up a way to convey the disqualification status from CRM into Outreach.  Typically, this will be done via a Lead Status<>Stage mapping.
  2. Set up a Trigger that applies to all disqualified Prospects.
  3. Add a Trigger action of "Finish all Sequences."

Additional Information

Note: If you have a Sequence workflow that is intended to try and re-qualify disqualified Sequences, you'll want to be sure to include in that workflow a step that changes the Prospect Stage to something other than "Disqualified," to keep the Trigger from firing again.
