Q: What kind of LinkedIn Sales Navigator License is needed to access Sales Navigator information in Outreach?
A: A Sales Navigator Advanced Plus license is required (per LinkedIn).
Q: Will the LinkedIn Sales Navigator tiles let the prospect know that I looked at their profile, even if I only view some of the information in Outreach?
A: No. The tile is only showing you the prospect information. You'll need to click on the tile to view the profile and trigger a notification to the prospect.
Q: Can I send my prospect an InMail from the tile?
A: Yes. If you click on the three dots on the right side of the tile, a dropdown menu will appear with the option to send an InMail. This will open LinkedIn in a separate tab.
Q: What happens if the tile doesn't find a lead or a company?
A: There is a back button next to the not found error message where you can search for the individual or the company
Q: What should I do if the LinkedIn Sales Navigator tile doesn't show the right Outreach prospect/account?
A: Expand the window and select "Not the right person link" to unlink and go back and search for the correct match.
Q: I can’t see any scrollbars, how do I move around inside the tile?
A: Each tab and line item has arrows keys to move horizontally across the data in the tile
Q: I see the ability inside the tile to “save as a lead”. Does that save it as a prospect in Outreach?
A: No, this saves it as a lead in Sales Navigator.
Q: I'm seeing errors within the LinkedIn Sales Navigation tile (ex. CRM not connected). Is this a LinkedIn or Outreach error?
A: This is usually an error within LinkedIn, not Outreach. The LinkedIn integration you see in Outreach is an embedded iFrame. This means that small UI you see of LinkedIn is directly from them, and is their code and UI. If you went directly to your LinkedIn Sales Navigation site, you will see the same error when performing the same action. If you see an error message in our Outreach platform, that is not directly within the LinkedIn integration window, please let our Support team know, and we'll be happy to take a look for you.
