Resolution

Note: The first two important steps refer to actions that need to be taken in your browser settings. Links to procedures for some of the most common are listed. If you don't see yours, please review their documentation for specific steps.

  1. Fully close/quit out of the Chrome browser and restart it: Sometimes the browser doesn't recognize the pop-up where you have to click Allow and grant access, so fully restarting the Chrome browser helps. Once you restart Chrome, go back to Outreach and attempt to sign in to the LinkedIn integration again.
  2. Enable Pop-ups: Ensure that your web browser allows pop-ups. This is crucial for the LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration to work properly. Here's how to check and enable pop-ups in some popular browsers:

  3. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, cached data and cookies can cause login issues. Here's how to clear this data in some popular browsers. Ensure to clear browser cache and cookies for all history.

  4. Check LinkedIn Sales Navigator License: Ensure that your LinkedIn Sales Navigator account has either an Advanced or Advanced Plus license. LinkedIn Sales Navigator is not available with lower-tier licenses. Learn more in our LinkedIn Sales Navigator FAQs.

  5. Remove the integration
    1. Log in to Outreach.
    2. Navigate to your profile.
    3. Click Settings & Privacy.
    4. Navigate to Other Applications Permitted Services.
    5. Click Change.
    6. Remove the integration.
    7. Sign out of both the Sales Navigator and Outreach.
    8. Reinstall the integration.

Cause

The issue of being unable to log in to LinkedIn Sales Navigator through Outreach.io can have several underlying causes, including:

  • Browser pop-up settings blocking necessary permissions and unable to authorize the login.
  • User forgetting to grant access by clicking the Allow button on the Chrome pop-up.
  • Chrome not registering that you allowed access.
  • Cached data or cookies causing conflicts.
  • Insufficient LinkedIn Sales Navigator license level for certain features.

Additional Information

For further assistance or if the issue persists despite following the above steps, please reach out to Outreach support or your organization's IT department. Providing detailed information about your browser version and any error messages encountered will be helpful for diagnosing and resolving the issue more effectively. This could also be permission/authorization based from your license that will need to be reviewed by your IT department.
