The introduction of profiles is an important feature alongside the rest of Outreach's org wide governance settings. Before, the method of management was users were limited to simply those who had more org wide privileges and those that didn't.
Profiles are more than just features or tools. The profiles portion of governance improves agility by ensuring your team members are collaborating together to achieve goals that are aligned with overall business goals.
In reviewing successful Outreach customers, the profile framework will give users a better sense of prioritization. Admins can allow certain users enable or restrict certain functions to ensure the most efficient use of Outreach.
What can be seen are users on all tiers having functions aligned with their functions. Roles like SDRs will see more emphasis more efficient prospecting, calling, and handling of replies. The attention of Marketing, who are more focused on the success of templates and sequences, not have to worry about other features.
When all setup, collaboration on all levels will be easy.
Setting up profiles is simple and we recommend mirroring the settings to the roles of each user on Outreach.
Profiles are located under settings > profiles
Clicking on the green "+Add" button will allow users to add more profiles based on the org needs. Clicking into that profile will allow you to add users to the profile or modify the settings.
At anytime, admins can reassign profiles based on any changes to the responsibility of the user.
