Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach administrators on syncing existing CRM data into Outreach during onboarding.
Applies To
- Outreach Administrators
Notes
- This feature uses the last modified timestamp on the records in the CRM and syncs the record if this timestamp falls within the data range selected for the job.
- End date is optional. If not selected, the end date defaults to today’s date.
- Estimated API call usage is just an estimate and is based on the number of records of a specific object in salesforce that have been last modified within the given date range. Actual API usage could vary significantly from the estimate.
- For one object, you can have only one historical sync job running at any given time.
- If the API limit you have set for CRM sync is reached, all active historical data sync jobs will be paused. You can manually resume the jobs after the API limits are replenished.
Procedure
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Click on Administration (the gear icon).
- Click on CRM under Integrations.
- On the landing page, click the More Options from the top right corner.
- Select Sync historical records.
- On the page, you can see the existing historical data load jobs. You can view the status of each job and choose to pause, resume or cancel one or more historical data load jobs.
- To create a new job, select Create a historical sync job button on the top right corner.
- On the popup dialog,
- Select the date range for the historical data sync job. Any records with the last modified timestamp between these dates will be synced into Outreach.
- Select the Object(s) you want to sync in this job.
- Check Ignore filters and conditions checkbox if you want to load all data from the CRM without applying the CRM sync filters and conditions you have set up on that object.
- Select Review button
- On the next screen, you will see a summary of your historical data sync job including the estimated API calls this job will consume.
- If everything looks good, press the Run sync button.
- You can now see your newly created job in the list of historical data sync jobs.
