Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide detailed instructions to Outreach Admins on how to sync custom objects between Outreach and their CRM.
The custom objects feature in Outreach allows Admins to enhance data management by seamlessly integrating and synchronizing custom data fields between Outreach and the CRM, ensuring that all relevant information is consistently up-to-date across both platforms.
Applies To
- Outreach Admin
Notes
- The native sync of custom objects now supports both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics. Integration with additional CRMs is planned for future releases.
Procedure
The process of setting up CRM syncs for custom objects follows the same steps as for standard objects, providing a consistent and familiar experience for Outreach Admins who have previously configured standard object syncs.
Before mapping custom objects between your CRM and Outreach, ensure that the custom objects are defined in Outreach.
To configure the CRM sync in Outreach:
- Navigate to Administration > Integration > CRM.
- In the list of object mappings, click ‘Add mapping’.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list, select the CRM object, choose the corresponding object in Outreach, and click ‘Save’.
- After saving, click on the object mapping to enter the configuration screen.
- From here, you can map individual fields, set the sync direction, frequency, define conditions, and more.
