Objective
This guide walks through using cross-object filtering via custom objects in Outreach. Cross-object filtering allows users to filter records in standard objects (Prospects, Accounts, Opportunities) using fields from associated custom object records. This enables teams to surface relevant records efficiently, leveraging child record data for more targeted workflows and insights.

Before you begin
Ensure that your custom objects are properly set up and associated with standard objects like Prospects, Accounts, and Opportunities.
Procedure
- Log in to Outreach as an Admin.
- Navigate to the list view of the object you want to filter (e.g., Prospects, Accounts, or Opportunities).
- Click Add Filter.
- Navigate to find fields from an associated custom object (e.g., ‘Campaign’ from ‘Campaign Member’).
- Choose an operator (e.g., Equals, Contains, Greater Than) and input the desired value.
- Click Apply to refine your results.
The list will now display records matching your defined criteria.
