How to reconnect your Salesforce sandbox to Outreach after a refresh

Objective

Reconnect your Salesforce sandbox instance to Outreach after you've refreshed your sandbox instance in Salesforce

Applies To

  • Outreach admins
  • Outreach sandbox orgs

Procedure

  1. From your Outreach production instance, go to Administration > Integrations > CRM
  2. Click the three dots (...) in the top right, then 'Export CRM sync configuration' (this file contains all your field mappings and your Salesforce URL)

  3. Open the downloaded JSON file, and in the "ProviderBaseURL" field, update the URL to your new Salesforce sandbox URL and save the file:

  4. Access your Outreach sandbox and go to Administration > Integrations > CRM
  5. Click the three dots (...), select "Import CRM sync configuration" and follow the prompts on screen to upload the updated JSON file

  6. Once complete, click the three dots (...), select 'Reconnect', and follow prompts on screen to login to your Salesforce instance
