Question

What are the terms of service for Outreach Data Sharing with Snowflake?

Applies To

  • Data Sharing

Answer

The Data Sharing feature is offered by Outreach under the conditions of your Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Data Privacy Agreement (DPA). Please refer to those for details.

In general terms, Outreach is a processor of your data and will store your data according to the terms of those agreements and according to your explicit instructions. Your Snowflake administrator controls who in your organization can access that data from your Snowflake account.

Snowflake has their own terms of service for consumers of data shares.

Is the Outreach Data Sharing listing in the Snowflake Marketplace a public share?

Outreach Data Sharing uses private shares.

The listing in the Snowflake Marketplace helps customers learn about data sharing, but requesting access to Data Sharing via that listing only sends a message to Outreach expressing interest. When a customer creates a new share it is a private share of only their data.

What data does Snowflake provide Outreach regarding my use of Data Sharing?

Snowflake provides high-level information about which accounts are querying their data in data sharing, how frequently, and which tables are being queried.
