Emails tab on the Prospect page
What does this page show?
The prospect's Emails tab displays all emails to and from the prospect. This is synced from your mailbox connection in Outreach. You can see a quick glimpse of when the first message was sent and some of the tracking information for that message. If you click on the email, it will open up that email subject's history and thread.
How do I get to this page?
Search for the prospect by either using the magnify glass in the top right, or by clicking on the Prospects page in the left-side navigation bar.
Once you find your prospect record, click on it to view that prospect's page. Once on the prospect's page, click on the Emails tab along the top.
How are the emails grouped?
The emails are grouped by the email subject. All emails will be displayed and grouped under their appropriate subject, even if you start a new email with the same subject.
What do the icons under the State column mean?
Those are the email's tracking icons. This will give you a quick glimpse of if and when the message was delivered, opened, clicked, and replied to. If you hover over those icons, they will display a little more information.
You may also notice that some emails have those tracking icons and some don't. This is a quick way to determine if that initial message was sent using Outreach or not. If the icons do not display, then that initial message was not sent using the Outreach website, Chrome extension, or Outlook add-in. Those messages that are not tracked will not be displayed in the Outreach Outbox page on the left-side navigation bar, and will not be included in your reporting metrics.
The exception to this is that if there are multiple replies in the email thread, some of the messages may have actually been sent using the Outreach system. To truly confirm, you have to click on the email thread to view the communication, and look for our blue banner and tracking icons there. Hovering over the icons will display a little more information for each message.
What is the date under the Date sent column?
The date displayed is the date that the first email was sent. This does not reflect the date of new replies.
