Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach Admins in configuring Advanced Task Mapping for LinkedIn Tasks within their Microsoft Dynamics plugin.

Notes:
- The CRM Sync experience listed here includes both the Classic Plugin experience and the new Enhanced CRM Sync Experience.
Before Completing This Process, Admins have:
- Created the Outreach Task Type custom field in Dynamics.
- Added the following value types to Dynamics:
- linkedin_view_profile
- linkedin_send_connection_request
- linkedin_send_message
- linkedin_interact_with_post
- linkedin_other
- Confirmed field-level security is set to visible and is visible for all Dynamics profiles.
Classic Plugin
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Access the Dynamics Plugin.
- Click the Task object in the Types list.
- Add a Condition for Outbound Create: State = Not Started.
- Click Save.
- Map Fields: Action<>Outreach Task Type.
- Click to enable Updates Out.
- Map Fields: Custom Template<>Subject.
- Click the Advanced Options arrow to the right of the fields and select Advanced.
- In the Custom Template dialog box, input desired text including the {{task_type_name}} string.
- Click Save.
Enhanced CRM Sync
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Access the Dynamics Integration.
- Click the Task object in the CRM landing page.
- Add a Condition for Outbound Create: State = Not Started.
- Click Save.
- Map Fields: Action<>Outreach Task Type.
- Click to enable Updates In Dynamics.
- Map Fields: Custom Template<>Subject.
- Click the Advanced Options ellipses to the right of the fields and select Template Settings.
- In the Custom Template dialog box, input desired text including the {{task_type_name}} string.
- Click Save.
