Outreach Success Plans Overview:
Outreach Success Plans are a shared space for Users to stay aligned with Prospects during complex deals and onboardings. Success Plans eliminate the need for sales teams to rely on fragmented email threads or shared spreadsheets to manage opportunities and provide a centralized hub for all the information exchanged throughout the process. For more information on creating and leveraging Success Plans, refer to the Additional Resources section of this article.
Accessing Outreach Success Plans:
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Click Plans.
Success Plan Categories:
Each Success Plan contains four categories for the User to configure:
- Timeline
- Success Criteria
- Resources
- Team
Timeline:
The Timeline of a Success Plan outlines the different phases that will take place during the sales cycle as well as the primary tasks and meetings that make up each phase.
Within each timeline event Users can add a unique description, assign owners and participants, and attach relevant documents.
For more information regarding the Timeline of a Success Plan, refer to the Additional Resources section of this article.
Success Criteria:
The Success Criteria of Success Plans provides a collaborative space for Users and Prospects to align and strategize criteria demands required to close the deal.
Users have the ability to include different categories within the Success Criteria section, such as Business Objectives, Technical Requirements, Metrics, and more.
Resources:
Outreach Success Plan Resources provides a central hub where assets, such as links to call recordings, case studies, or security documentation shared throughout the sales cycle can be stored for access by any collaborators on the plan.
Note: These resources are visible to everyone.
Success Plan Resources are added by Users through the Resources tab as well as when creating events, meetings, and success criteria.
Team:
Outreach Success Plan Teams is where the plan's owner can invite internal and external stakeholders to collaborate. All plan collaborators have the ability to view and edit the timeline, comment on events, view and edit the Success Criteria, access resources, and add team members.
Only individuals on the internal team will have visibility to internal only timeline events.
Users can click on an engagement tile to surface a more granular insight to the contact’s participation in the plan as well as view the contact’s most recent activity.
