Where is Outreach’s product infrastructure hosted?
The core Outreach platform is hosted in multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers in various AWS regions across the United States and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Dublin.
Before May 2022, the Outreach platform was solely located in the United States. As of May 2022, Outreach has a new data center environment in the European Union.

Does the GDPR require Outreach to store personal data in the EU?
No, Outreach does not process sensitive data as defined by GDPR. The GDPR permits transfers of personal data outside of the EU subject to certain conditions. Outreach helps enable customers to meet their GDPR obligations whether their customer data is stored in our US or EU infrastructure. Outreach follows legal processes for GDPR-compliant data transfers between the EU and US.
How can I confirm that my Outreach data is hosted in the EU?
When you sign up for Outreach, you may choose to host your data in North America or the EU. To know if your instance is hosted in the EU, you need to find out your Environment Name, you can find this information by following the steps in this article How to determine your Outreach Production Environment.
If your account’s data is hosted in Dublin, your Outreach Environment Name will begin with “app4”, e.g. app4a, app4b, etc. If not, your account is hosted in the US.
Can I access my Outreach from any location?
Yes! Regardless of whether Outreach is deployed in the EU or US, it can be accessed globally.
