Applies To

  • Prospects that book a meeting using new or different information in the public calendar fields (first name, last name, email, company, phone number) from their existing record in Outreach.

Answer

When a prospect books a meeting on a user's public calendar, Outreach will identify (and dedupe) the prospect by their email address. In cases where Outreach identifies an existing record, no changes will be made to the first name, last name, or company fields, even if the prospect enters in different information from what's associated with their existing record.

If a prospect enters in a different phone number, the number will be added to their record but will not overwrite any existing phone numbers.

In cases where a prospect books a meeting using a new email address (that's not already associated with an existing record), Outreach will create a new prospect record. In this scenario, the first name, last name, company, and phone number will be added based on what's entered into the public calendar fields.
