How to Set Up Outreach Activity Notifications (Desktop, In-App, Email)

Objective

Set up in-application, desktop, and email notifications for various Outreach activities and communications in your Outreach Personal settings. This includes receiving general Outreach email communications.

Applies To

  • Outreach users

Procedure

Access Notifications Options

  1. Access the Outreach Platform. 
  2. Click the user's initials in the bottom left-corner of the navigation sidebar.
  3. Click Personal Settings.
  4. Under General, click on Notifications.
  5. Review the options in each section, and check or uncheck boxes as applicable.

Desktop notifications

  • Enable desktop notifications - Check this box and click the label Click here to enable desktop notifications to set up Outreach activity notifications via your browser.
  • Don't get notified when opening your own emails - Do not receive a notification when you open emails you yourself have sent.

Task notifications

Checking these boxes will allow task progress to trigger notifications via the respective modes.

  • Enable desktop urgent task notifications
  • Enable in-app urgent task notifications

Email Notifications

These options allow you to manage being notified about email-related activity and issues.

  • Meeting updates
  • Somebody other than the recipient responding to an email
  • New voicemails
  • Mailbox and calendar sync errors
  • Plugin related errors
  • Bounce limits
  • Enable Outreach engagement emails - Check this to receive general email communications about Outreach news, releases, updates, events, announcements, etc.

Digest emails

Checking these boxes sends a regularly scheduled email with personalized data and insights.

  • Send a daily digest email of tasks and stats
  • Send a weekly email with stats and a leaderboard of your reports
