Objective

Add a single Lead, Contact, or Account from a CRM directly into Outreach.

Before You Begin

  • Organizations operating multiple Plugins connected to a single instance (i.e., a Production instance and Sandbox CRM instance) will only be able to pull records from the first instance connected.
  • Outreach recommends relying on this import method if the Outreach Everywhere Chrome extension is not installed. 
  • If you're using Salesforce and adding multiple Leads, Contacts, or Accounts at once, Outreach recommends importing via Salesforce reports or the Salesforce List View with Outreach Everywhere.

How To Import a Single Lead, Contact, or Account to Outreach from a CRM

  1. Access the Outreach Platform.
  2. Click the Actions button in the top right corner of the platform.
  3. In the dropdown, click to open the CRM load applicable to your org. (The image below is just an example of how this may be labeled.)
  4. In the resulting pop-up, select the applicable object type. 
  5. Input the name of the record into the search field. 
  6. Optionally toggle settings to Include associated contacts, leads and accounts and/or Skip integration filters and conditions.
  7. Click Import.
