How to Record a Voicemail Drop [Beta]

Objective

Configure Voicemail Drop for Outreach Voice.

Applies To

  • Outreach Users
  • Voicemail
  • Outreach Voice

Before You Begin

If available on the org, the Voicemail Drop feature can be configured by each user for themselves, and each user will have their own set of pre-recorded voicemails. It does not specifically require enablement or configuration by an admin.

Admins: If you and your users do NOT see options to configure Voicemail Drop, submit a technical support request to have it enabled by Outreach for your entire organization. 

Procedure

  1. Access the Outreach Platform.
  2. Hover over your name, then click Personal Settings at the bottom left.
  3. Navigate to Voice Voicemail.
  4. Navigate to When calling (voice drop).
  5. Click Record new message.
  6. Input the name of the Voicemail Drop in the Name field.
    Note: Each Voicemail Drop should have a descriptive name to easily identify what scenario that voicemail is best suited for.
  7. Click Start recording.
  8. When finished, click Stop to stop the recording.
  9. Click the Play button to review your recording.
  10. Click Save. Your new voicemail appears in the Voicemail Drop section.

Selecting a Default Voicemail Drop

  1. Select a Voicemail Drop.
  2. Click Save. The selected voicemail drop will have Default attached to it.
