How To Install the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In for Outlook [LEGACY]

Objective

The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach Users in installing the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In for Outlook Web, O365, and Desktop versions.

• This article illustrates the process of searching and installing the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In for Outlook 365. The process is similar for Outlook Web and Mac Users. For more information regarding installing Add-Ins for Microsoft products, refer to the Microsoft Installing Office Add-ins to your mailbox article.
• Emails sent with the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In are visible in the Outreach Outbox. Emails sent outside the Outreach environment do not display in the Outreach Outbox.
• Using the "Send With Outreach" button will send your message with the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In.
• If you have Native Send enabled -  Confirm the Outreach Add-In is enabled and open in the New Mail panel prior to clicking Send. An easy way to ensure this is open before sending is to have Outreach pinned open on the New Mail window before sending. This will ensure your messages are sent using the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In.
• Recommendation:
  • For users who are using Outlook add-in on a daily basis, we recommend installing the new add-in.
  • For users who are not frequent users of the Outlook add-in, we recommend installing the legacy add-in.
  • Read more about the differences between the legacy and new add-in.
• Using the Outlook add-in with Google Workspaces is not supported. Only Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 are supported for use with the Outlook add-in. For more information on Outreach Everywhere for Gmail, please see our Outreach Everywhere for Gmail FAQs.

Procedure

1. Access Outlook.
2. Access the Add-in Store.
3. Input Outreach in the Search field and select the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In or press [Enter].
   
4. Click to install or enable the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In for Outlook as applicable.
   Note: The searching and installation of the Outreach Sales Engagement Add-In for Outlook is similar for Outlook Web, and Mac Users.
   
   The Outlook Sales Engagement Add-In for Outlook is installed and ready for use.
