Objective
You want the CRM to only sync specific records, and exclude certain records and activities. Choose which/how objects should sync between your connected CRM and Outreach.
Example A - You have certain CRM user records, where if they are the owner of a record in your CRM, you don't want those records to be brought in to Outreach, or vice versa.
Example B - You have internal lead/contact/account records in your CRM that you do not want to sync and be brought in to Outreach, or vice versa.
Example C - You only want records that have a specific value(s) for a field(s) to sync, or not.
Example D - You only want to sync records that are associated to an Account.
Applies To
- CRM plugin configuration in Outreach
- Salesforce users
- Dynamics users
- Admin users in Outreach
Procedure
- Go to the CRM integration configuration page in Outreach, here. (Administration settings page > Integrations > CRM).
- Click on the applicable object that you want to set a syncing condition for.
- Scroll down to the Set syncing conditions section near the bottom.
- Similar to trigger conditions, set your conditions to configure what you want the CRM to sync.
- Create a contact in CRM = Outbound create
- Update a contact in CRM = Outbound update
- Create a prospect in Outreach = Inbound create
- Update a prospect in Outreach = Inbound update
*NOTE: Any field conditions you add must also be set up as a field mapping on that object. It must be included in the field mapping so we can sync that field.
Ex. If you don't have the field Custom 46 configured in the field mapping, you cannot use Custom 46 as a condition.
