With Texting Email Notifications, when you receive a text message you’ll get an email notifying you each text message conversation with unread messages. Every four minutes, Outreach will check the platform for unread text messages. If there are unread messages, you’ll receive an email from email@example.com, which will include a list of the prospects name with a link to the conversation.
You can click on the link to open Outreach to the prospects text message to quickly reply.
Enabling the Missed Text Email Notification
This feature is enabled by default if you have texting available in your Outreach account. To disable the text notifications, you can do the following:
- Click on the initials on the bottom left hand corner of the Outreach platform
- On the top of the page, click into the “Voice” tab
- Scroll down the page until you see the the section labeled “SMS Default Number”. Under the default SMS number you’ll see a checkbox labeled “Texting Email Notification”
- To disable texting email notifications, uncheck the box
- Save your changes
When you enable text message email notifications, you’ll receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org when you have an unread message.
