Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach Admins in manually syncing multiple account, prospect, or opportunity records with the CRM.
Notes:
- Some Outreach views and options require admin-level governance permissions. If the options outlined in this article are unavailable, contact the Org’s Outreach Administrator as applicable. For more information regarding governance profile settings, refer to the Governance Profile Settings Overview article.
- Outreach automatically looks for changes in records in both the Outreach Platform and the CRM instance; however, depending on the plugin's settings, changes may not be synced immediately.
- Outreach allows the syncing of Prospect records to capture and import new and updated information immediately through a manual import process.
- Manually syncing records takes up more API calls than allowing a record to automatically update through the plugin and could potentially exceed API call quota.
Procedure
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Click the appropriate icon in the navigation sidebar, (choosing Prospects, Accounts, or Opportunities)
- Sort, filter, and select the applicable record(s)
- Click the More Options icon (...) and select Synchronize with CRM.
- Select the applicable action and options based on the descriptions in the table below:

Note: This is normally used when you have records that are not syncing/updating due to a recent change you made in the CRM plugin and field mappings. New records should update and sync fine, but "prior" records need to be force synced this way. - Click Sync.
Note: Manually syncing records takes up more API calls than allowing records to automatically update through the plugin and could potentially exceed your API call quota.
