Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide direction to Outreach Users in applying previously created personas to Prospects.
Personas are a way to classify Prospects based on similar attributes to help improve dialog and communication.

Before You Begin
- A persona must be created to apply to a Prospect. Before completing this process, ensure your Outreach admins have created a Persona(s).
- Applying a Persona to a Prospects makes the Persona a searchable and filterable data point in the Prospect landing page. For more information on searching and filtering Prospects, refer to How to Apply Filters to Prospects.
Procedure
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- In the left navigation sidebar, click Prospects.
Note: By default, Your prospects are shown. Optionally adjust as needed. - Check the boxes to select the applicable Prospects.
- Above the Prospects list, click Edit > Persona.
- Select the applicable Persona to apply.
- Click Save.
Once the Persona has been applied to the selected Prospects, it can be used to filter and group them.
