How to sync multi-prospect emails with CRM

Objective

The purpose of this article is to provide directions to Outreach Admins in configuring syncing of multi-prospect emails with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics. The multi-prospect email sync feature enables customers to associate an email activity with all prospects on that email when syncing that activity to the CRM. This feature provides a complete activity attribution in the CRM.

Procedure

Salesforce CRM

  1. In Outreach, go to Administration > Integrations > CRM.

  2. Select Task to Mailing object mapping.

  3. Under Select field mapping section, select Add mapping.

  4. Select TaskWhoIDs field in the Salesforce field dropdown. Select Prospect IDs field in the Outreach field dropdown.

  5. Check the box next to the field mapping for Update in Salesforce.

  6. Select Save.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM

  1. In Outreach, go to Administration → Integrations → CRM.

  2. Select Emails to Mailing object mapping.

  3. Under Select field mapping section, select Add mapping.

  4. Select To Recipients field in the Dynamics field dropdown and select To Entities IDs field in the Outreach field dropdown.

  5. Check the box next to the field mapping for Update in Dynamics.

  6. Optionally, create a new field mapping between CC Recipients in Dynamics and CC Entities IDs in Outreach.

  7. Select Save.
