Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide directions to Outreach admins in creating new field mapping from the new side panel experience. The new experience reduces the risk of invalid configuration by performing upfront validation of field settings mismatch.

Procedure
The new Add field mapping experience enhances the quality of data sync with Outreach and CRMs by doing upfront validation of sync configuration at the time of setup.
- Log in to Outreach as an Admin
- Access the CRM sync settings by navigating to Administrator > Integrations > CRM.
- Select the object mapping for which you want to create a new field mapping.
- Select the Add mapping button in the Set field mapping section.
- Select the CRM field and the corresponding Outreach field to be mapped.
- For a reference field, select the Mapped field toggle and select the correct object from the drop-down.
- Select how you'd like empty field values to be handled when syncing in each direction.
- Turn on record deduping if you'd like this field mapping to be used for deduping records.
