Before You Begin

• No user or admin configuration is required. Preference learning is on by default.

Overview

Omni learns how you like to work and applies what it learns across your conversations, so you don't have to repeat yourself every time. It stores preferences you explicitly share about things like:

• Your communication style and tone
• Your expertise level
• The tools you use
• Your role and team
• Your output format preferences

For example, if you tell Omni which opportunity fields you want checked when summarizing a deal, it can include those fields going forward. If you tell it you prefer agendas formatted as bullet points, it can format future call prep that way.

A few things worth knowing about how this works:

• A preference is only captured when you explicitly tell Omni to remember it, change it, or apply it going forward (for example, saying "remember," "always," or "from now on"). Omni doesn't infer preferences just from how you phrase a single request.
• Omni updates preferences you've already set when additional instructions are given across multiple messages.
• To change or remove a preference, tell Omni directly (for example, "forget that" or "actually, always do X instead"). Preferences are adjusted based on explicit instructions, not general feedback.
• Omni only stores stable, ongoing preferences, not one-off details from a single conversation, and never sensitive personal information (such as religious beliefs).

Only you can see your own extracted preferences.

What kind of information does Omni remember about me?

Only you. You can ask Omni to show you your stored preferences at any time.

What if Omni learns something wrong or outdated?
Preferences only change when you tell Omni directly, for example by saying "forget that" or "actually, always do X instead." Omni doesn't automatically revise preferences based on general feedback or usage patterns.
