Objective
Configure your CRM settings in Outreach to sync over Kaia meeting recordings and summaries.

Before You Begin
- Syncing over a recording refers to the Kaia recording link (URL), via which all associated meeting assets (e.g., video for playback, transcripts, etc.) can be accessed.
- Full Kaia meeting transcripts themselves are not able to be synced to the CRM due to limitations on standard CRM fields.
Procedures
Configure Meeting Recording Sync
- Access the Outreach platform.
- Click Administration > Integrations > CRM.
- Find and select the Event object.
- Click Add mapping.
- Add the field Kaia recording URL and map it to an Event CRM field.
Adding Kaia meeting summaries
- Access the Outreach Platform.
- Click Administration > Integrations > CRM.
- Find and select the Event object.
- Click Add mapping.
- Add the field Kaia Recording Summary and map it to the CRM event Description field.
- If you previously had Calendar Event sync configured, be sure to remap the original Description field mapping to a new custom Salesforce or Dynamics field.
Note: Salesforce and Dynamics do not allow custom fields on the Activity object larger than 255 characters. The Description field is the only field that will consistently fit Kaia meeting summaries.
