Objective
The purpose of this article is to provide direction for Outreach users who would like to set up a meeting reminder email for prospects.
While there is no automated function to send an email to prospects when a meeting is booked, there is a workaround which may be helpful to you.
Applies To
- Triggers
- Sequences
Procedure
We typically recommend that you first create a sequence with one or two email steps where the email templates are reminding the prospect of their upcoming meeting. Then you can create a Trigger for “meeting booked” which will automatically create an action for the prospect based on the Trigger conditions.
Setting the Sequence
You can set this Sequence to send the first email X amount of hours or days after the Prospect has been enrolled to the Sequence. While this won't be based on when the Meeting is scheduled, it can still serve as a reminder.
Setting the Trigger
Once you've built the sequence, you can create the Meeting booked trigger where:
- Event is meeting booked
- Target is the prospect
- Action is adding the prospect to the sequence you created
