How to sync [Auto] or [Manual] email type up to CRM

Objective

When sending one off emails or sequence emails.  To sync the emails to CRM to track if the email is a manual email or an auto email type.

Applies To

  • Admin users
  • Advanced Task Mapping
  • Emails sent from Outreach
  • Emails sent with Outreach using Outreach Chrome Extension or Outreach for Outlook add-in 

Procedure

  1. Navigate Administration page > Integrations > CRM.
  2. Click into the the Task <> Mailing object.
  3. Find the field mapping Subject <> Custom Template, click on the 3 dots and select Template Settings.
  4. Look for the {{auto_manual}} variable and click on it to add to the template section on the right side.

Note: This variable can be repositioned anywhere within the template to come before or after any of the other variables.
