Create a Task from "Quick Actions"
To create a task from any page in Outreach, click on the "Quick Action" button on the top right of the page. If you're on the 360 view page, the button will say "Quick Action", otherwise the option will appear as a lightning bolt.
From the 360 view page:
Outside of the 360 view page:
Create a Task from the Prospect Profile
In the prospect overview page, select "New Task" on the prospect sidebar:
Alternatively, you can find the prospect in the list view and click on the dropdown menu that appears on the right hand side of the page:
When you've found the prospect you're interested in, you will be prompted for more information regarding the prospect, the priority of the task, who the task is assigned to, the due date/time and any notes associated with the task. If you're creating a task from a specific prospect profile, the prospect name will automatically populate.
Creating a Task from a Sequence Step
Tasks can also be created as part of a sequence step. Once the step is created (manual email, phone call, generic task), the task will be generated when the prospect is active in the associated step.
