Symptom

User is seeing error "Browser restrictions prevented us from creating the dialog box. The domain of dialog box and the domain of the add-in host are not in the same security" in Outlook when sending emails from Outreach add in.

Applies To

  • Office 365

Resolution

Contact your IT / Office 365 admin to check your Outlook profile permissions.

Cause

We usually see this error when user doesn't have the correct permissions to send in Outlook profile.
